New Democrat Majority's Mission
As an external actor, NDM’s strategic responsibility is to engage in contests where our involvement can be determinative to the outcome. To this end, we may move to fill gaps left by candidates endorsed by the NewDem Action Fund in the following ways:
Message - in instances that campaigns must make resource-constrained decisions to sacrifice a critical message track, NDM may engage to cover an additional messaging lane in the same markets and mediums as other actors.
Market - in instances that campaigns must make resource-constrained decisions to leave markets weakly treated or untreated entirely, NDM may engage to cover communication over the same interval as other actors in untreated systems.
Medium - in instances where campaigns select a dominant medium with limited resources and leave critical channels untreated, NDM may engage to cover a full medium such as search and social digital, connected TV and dynamic video, direct mail, or broadcast and cable TV.
